I am a painter living in Los Angeles. After finishing graduate work at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, I lived and worked in Colorado and Illinois before moving to the East Village, NYC, where I worked and showed for twenty years before moving to Los Angeles in 2002.

1971: B.A. English Literature and Undergraduate Poetry Workshop, University of Iowa.
1972-1973: Graduate School in Comparative Literature and audited classes in the School of Art, University of Iowa.
1973-1979: Lived in Rockford, Illinois, working as chef days and painting at night.
1979-2002: Lived and worked in East Village, NYC, showing in various group exhibitions (through Michael Florescu), three one-man shows, and sales through John Touzos (of Rempire, Willoughby-Sharp, and Whitehall galleries}.
2002-present: Living and working in Los Angeles, shown in a few group exhibitions, including four benefit auctions for APLA at Bonhams, but no current gallery affiliation.
